THe little things that make cruising a nordhavn 47 a Unique

It’s the day-to-day little things that are every bit as mandatory aboard a boat, and, we have over the last four decades, pulled together all these little enhancements that make life (almost unknowingly) better. A couple of examples that we came to appreciate, that are now mandatory for staying aboard are:

• When it’s raining and you come aboard with three bags of groceries in your arms, it is 1,000 times nicer if you stand at your entry door fumbling for your keys UNDER A FIXED OVERHEAD!  

• A marine head that is reliable (with a second one as a back up (pun intended) just in case.

• A full-sized galley that holds all the toys and has lots of fridge and freezer room.

• An absolutely dry boat!!!

• Easy entry from the dock.

• Safe bulwarks to keep the kids and dogs from going over.

• Lots of deck canvas options to keep the sun out of your living space.

• A mud room!!
